Part-Time Nanny Needed | San Francisco (94118) → Marin County | $40–$45+/hr + Benefits

Little Sprouts & Co. is seeking an exceptional part-time nanny for a warm, collaborative family currently located in San Francisco (94118) who will be moving to Marin County in the future. The family is looking for someone who is excited to grow with them long-term and is comfortable transitioning with the family once they relocate.

This is an incredible opportunity for a nanny who loves building meaningful relationships, enjoys engaging with curious toddlers, and is passionate about supporting children’s emotional and developmental growth.

Position Details

  • Start Date: August 24, 2026

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 2:50 PM–6:00/6:30 PM

  • Optional Hours: Morning shift from 6:45 AM–8:10 AM available for candidates looking for additional hours (completely optional)

  • Optional Weekend Hours: One weekend morning occasionally available if desired (not required)

  • Compensation: $40–$50/hour, depending on experience

  • Payroll: Paid legally through HomePay

About the Child

You’ll be caring for one wonderful little girl who is 2 years, 10 months old.

She is incredibly bright, funny, imaginative, and deeply loves music, dancing, books, creativity, and learning. She is highly verbal, very social, and thrives with caregivers who genuinely enjoy engaging with children through play, conversation, and exploration.

She is also high-functioning autistic (Level 1), and while she is an energetic and joyful child, she occasionally needs extra support navigating transitions and regulating emotions. Experience with neurodiverse children is a huge plus, but the family is equally excited to meet nannies who are patient, emotionally regulated, eager to learn, and committed to supporting her development.

Responsibilities

  • School pickup and transportation to activities and appointments

  • Engaging, developmentally appropriate play

  • Meal preparation for the child

  • Supporting routines and transitions

  • Encouraging emotional regulation and social development

  • Children’s laundry

  • Tidying children’s spaces

  • Light kitchen cleanup when time allows (loading/unloading dishwasher, wiping counters, etc.)

  • Bringing in packages as needed

  • Supporting emotional regulation and helping identify feelings

  • Encouraging confidence and independence

  • Fostering friendships through playdates and social opportunities

  • Reading together and supporting early literacy (a bonus, but not required)

They appreciate consistency around routines like meals, naps, and bedtime, while remaining flexible throughout the rest of the day. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle

  • Comfortable driving between San Francisco and Marin (bridge tolls reimbursed)

  • Non-smoker

  • Comfortable relocating with the family to Marin County when they move

  • Authorized to work in the United States
