The family has two daughters, ages 6 and 8, and is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with school-aged children, brings positive energy into the home, and can create a fun, nurturing, and structured environment.

🏡 Position: Part-Time, Long-Term Career Nanny
đź“… Start Date: ASAP
⏰ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM (20 hours/week)
✨ Family may be flexible with a 1:00 PM start time (up to 25 hours/week).
💰 Compensation: $40–$45/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
🌿 Commitment: Long-term, ideally 2+ years

The family has two sweet girls, ages 6 and 8, each with their own wonderful personality!
Their oldest daughter is thoughtful and sensitive and benefits from a patient, understanding caregiver who can help her navigate big emotions with confidence and compassion.
Their youngest daughter is more easygoing and enjoys engaging activities and play.
Both girls would benefit from a nanny who encourages creativity, independence, reading, emotional regulation, and healthy communication.
The parents value structure, consistency, kindness, and respectful communication. They maintain an established daily routine and are looking for someone who can seamlessly support their parenting approach while bringing fresh ideas and creativity into the girls’ afternoons.
Both parents work in the tech industry with hybrid schedules, so one parent is typically home during working hours.
The household also has a friendly Labradoodle!
🌱 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Childcare & Development
School pickups and transportation to extracurricular activities
Homework assistance and encouragement with daily reading
Planning creative, age-appropriate activities, games, and projects
Encouraging independence, confidence, and problem-solving skills
Supporting emotional regulation through patience, positive reinforcement, and healthy coping strategies
Maintaining the family’s established routines and household expectations
Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
Creating an engaging, supportive, and screen-conscious afternoon environment
Light Household Support
Children’s laundry and general laundry assistance
Light kitchen cleanup and tidying
Keeping common areas organized
Occasional light household errands
Helping maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized home

🌱 QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Previous professional nanny experience, preferably with school-aged children
Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and safe driving record
Comfortable transporting children to and from activities
Authorized to work in the United States
CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification
Strong professional childcare references
Non-smoker
Comfortable working in a home with a dog
Comfortable working in a multilevel home with stairs
Strong communication skills and a professional, dependable approach
Able to commit to a long-term position (ideally 2+ years)
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS (NOT REQUIRED):
Spanish-speaking or bilingual
Musical interests or ability to introduce music-related activities
Experience supporting children’s emotional development and self-regulation
A love for arts, crafts, reading, and creative projects
